    Frequently Asked Questions:

    1. How do we book your services for our forthcoming wedding?

We will either email or send you our booking form which needs to be signed and sent back to us with a £250 booking fee. Once this has cleared our account we will write back confirming that we are officially booked for your wedding day.

    2. Do we get to meet you to discuss details prior to our wedding day?

We always try to meet our customers prior to their wedding day to discuss details. We generally will travel 25 miles outside our area to meet. We will contact you within 4 weeks of your wedding date to arrange a meeting. If distances are further we either discuss all details by phone and email, or you are welcome to visit us at our premises in Woking, Surrey. A questionnaire is sent to you with our booking form with all relevant information that will be helpful to us. Once completed we use this as our guide to your wedding day.

3.Do you charge for travel on our wedding day?

We include 50 miles(round trip) of travel with all our price plans. There will be a nominal charge for weddings over this mileage and in some cases we will need accommodation if traveling further than 60 miles(one way) outside our area. A nominal charge of £250 is payable for all weddings taking place in Central London. We will need a parking space at the church and venue due to our equipment and the need to have constant access to it. If we have to pay for parking than this will be added to your price plan.

4.When do you need to leave the bridal/groom preparations?

If we are covering bridal/groom preparations we will need time to set up at the church location at least 1 hour prior to the service. This is to set up, check equipment and capture guests arriving, exterior and interior shots of church prior to the bride’s arrival. We travel throughout the UK with one form of transport and therefore all bridal/groom preparations are covered by one camera operator.

    5. Do you use wireless mics for the vows?

Whilst there may be circumstances out of our control where we may not be able to use a wireless microphone, we strongly recommend that this is used for clearer audio during your vows.

    6. Do we get to choose our own music for the wedding DVD?

Yes!. We need you to provide at least 12 music choices. We will use these choices throughout your wedding DVD at our discretion. We will not necessarily use all music supplied, but this will give us greater scope in the editing. When thinking of music choices try to vary between slow and fast tracks to give variety. Remember, music is a very powerful and emotive tool and has a big influence on the final production. Alternatively you can leave some music choices to our discretion if you are unsure. Just let us know the genre of music you like!

7.How long will our final wedding DVD be?

Although we appreciate that no two weddings are the same, as a guide we try to keep our productions between 60—80 minutes in length. This is to preserve quality and keep the production flowing. If the church service is long we generally offer a condensed version on the main DVD (approx: 20 minutes in length) and the full version on a separate disc. We may also do this with the speeches at your discretion if they are excessively long. Please note that for civil ceremony weddings the edit may be shorter due to the nature of the day and events, including the shorter length of the civil ceremony. Alternatively the edit may be longer for larger weddings due to the nature of the wedding and events.

8.When will we receive our final DVD after the wedding?

We generally have your wedding DVD ready approximately six weeks after your wedding date at quieter times of the year, but it can take up to 12 weeks in busier periods. We will not be able to commence editing until we have received all your music choices, and any photos if you have chosen the ‘photo montage’ option. We take great care in editing your wedding film and spend many hours in the editing process carefully perfecting each shot, which takes a considerable amount of time.

We ask that two or three photos are supplied from your wedding day for your personalised DVD cover. This can be sent to us by email. Please ask the photographer’s permission before doing so. Alternatively we can choose from our footage, although the quality will not be as high.
